Cookie Policy
Last updated August 5, 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things about you between visits — in our case, only whether you are signed in.
We also use similar technologies (local storage, session storage) which work the same way for the purposes of this policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Can you disable? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, security tokens | No — the service won't work without these |
| Functional | Not used — we do not store preference cookies | n/a |
| Analytics | Not used — we run no analytics or usage-tracking cookies | n/a |
We do not use advertising, marketing, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data to ad networks. The only cookie this site sets is the session cookie listed below.
3. Named cookies
This is the complete list of cookies this site sets.
| Name | Category | Expires | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
eb_session | Strictly necessary | 12 hours | Keeps you signed in. Contains a random token only — no personal information. Marked HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax, so it cannot be read by scripts and is not sent from other sites. |
4. Third-party services
This site currently loads no third-party scripts that set cookies. If that changes — for example when identity-verification or payment providers are integrated into the signed-in experience — we will update this page and name each provider before the change goes live.
5. Controlling cookies
Because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary for signing in, there is nothing optional to consent to and we do not show a cookie banner. You can still control cookies yourself:
- Your browser settings — see instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Do Not Track — we run no tracking or analytics cookies, so there is nothing for a DNT signal to switch off
Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent core parts of the service from working (you won't be able to sign in).
6. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
